My first year in college...

•3 min read Expectations didn't let me to take admission in IIT's or NIT's or any other prestigious institute in India, but somehow I was able to take admission in a Tier 3 college, in CSE department. When I joined college I was fully motivated by the many speakers talks, about how to start your college life with a blast. I used to listen Aman Dhattarwal's talk where he say's about how to make yourself standout from rest, in terms of hustling like learning new things, finding where your life lies.
In first two months of my college I have learnt graphic design and video editing, since it was a covid period I got an ample time to learn and do more in this and that. But things didn't go as it was expected. I stopped to do graphic designing, maybe I was not liking it. After that I reached out to many videos, but here I got to know that first and the most important thing to do, when it comes to your job is none other than DSA and Algorithm. So here my journey began with coding. Previously I had the knowledge of programming but that knowledge was for just passing in exam and nothing more than that. In school I learnt JAVA but I was not going well with it, so I started to learn Python. Now, I choose python as it was easy to move with it and similarly my interest in AI and Machine learning.
Going with python was easy and was enjoying while coding but just at the beginning. I joined Hackerank and was practicing more and more to improve my problem solving skill. But in the same way previously, I was not enjoying with my coding and started a new journey in Web Development and this was where I fell in love with.
So, it was around the first week of November 2021, I started by learning with HTML, two days later I started to learn CSS and started to built a project based on what I have learnt. Similarly I learnt Javascript and React as framework. I have purchased a course in UDEMY on web development by AngelaYu, along with it I used to enjoy tutorial of Thapa Technical . It took around three months to go with frontend development learning UI and UX but after that there was a sudden hold in my learning. My first semester was ended and at the same time my offline class was also started. On starting it was difficult for me to go along with college studies and my learning, as on everyday I have to travel a long distance, where I have to wake up early morning catch up my train and travel a long distance to reach to my college and then again return back my home and practice coding and web development. It was at the time I realized how difficult was it to standout from the rest by learning new things and not going up with the flow.
Well I enjoyed and preferred to be in home and do my work rather than going to college and go with those boring lectures. But I was lucky that my final exam was going to be in online mode. It gave me an oppurtunity to bounce back again and now go with backened development. While it took around five months to get with both frontend and backened development and then about more two months to call me as a basic full stack developer. I made many projects, participated in some competitions to go along with the flow.
Here, I have put much information about my journey in full stack developer, rather than how I enjoyed my college life which was just like nothing. Currently I am in second year of my college life, I am currently working on a startup named "TripeVlog", and along with it enhancing my coding skills.
